Welcome to the new home page for the Marin Ultimate Summer League. If you're a longtime player in the North Bay, and you think you're seeing a 3rd version of our web site, you're not imagining things. This is, indeed, the 3rd web site we've had since we started the league in 2007.

As we get set to begin our 4th season, and first as part of Bay Area Disc Association, we expect this will be our last web site move for a very long time. In case you haven't kept up with the news, many changes in the local Ultimate scene have been taking place, and we in Marin are proud to be a part of it all.

Summer 2010 Registration - Start Friday, May 7th

Starting on Friday, May 7th @ 12 noon, registration to MUSL 2010 will take place right here on the Bay Area Disc Association web site. If you've played any of our other leagues since the fall, then you're already hip to the scene, aren't you? It will be the same drill, as always.

If you've never played in any Bay Area Disc events, you can get a head start on the sign-up process by creating a user account.

You want details, we got details:

• Games will be on Friday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McInnis Park in San Rafael.
• The season begins with our annual mixer / pick-up game on June 4th.
• The regular season begins the following week on June 11th. You'll be assigned to a team with an awesome captain.
• UPA Memberships No Longer Required! - Yes, you read correctly. You will not have to renew your UPA memberships to play the upcoming season. We realize that the lifting of UPA membership requirements is a big departure from the past. Please look over this informational page if you need clarification.

Bay Area Disc Association owns and operates not one, but two of the largest Ultimate-related lists in the country on Yahoogroups. We invite all North Bay players to join our NEWS list to get all official league announcements and to join our COMMUNITY list to get plugged into all miscellany posted by Ultimate players, for Ultimate players. What's that? Are you already on too many lists? Yeah, we know...we at Bay Area Disc Association know there are too many lists out there. In 2010, we will resume our ambitious endeavor to consolidate email lists in the area. Please read on to learn more, or if you want to help.

Sunday Morning Pickup in Larkspur (join the mailing list)

Can't wait for league play to begin? Don't feel like you should have to leave the comforts of Marin to chase some plastic? Well, we've got the game for you. Come out to Redwood High School in Marin and play in one of the longest-running pickup games in Northern California.

• Location: Redwood High School in Larkspur, on the grass soccer field or the turf football field
• Address: 395 Doherty Drive, just off Highway 101
• When: Sunday morning start and end times vary, year-round (barring a tournament weekend when many players are away)
• What about the weather? Occasionally, we'll cancel this game or move it when it gets rainy. To stay on top of the news, the best thing to do is to join our mailing list.
